Beginning our operation in 1988 at a time of tremendous growth in the area, we envisioned our future through home-cooked, family-style food.

We felt that the timeless value of tradition and family would give us the future and the satisfaction of our customers.

So, with the same romance, we continue for more than 30 years to offer the wonderful flavors of our country to the tastemakers from all over the world.

Varvara’s restaurant is a purely family business. Mrs. Varvara, the restaurant’s cook, creates and is influenced by the fresh ingredients she uses, but also by the love of the people.

We have kept the values of the family business unchanged and this was and is loved by our customers.

We loved it! This is a family- run authentic Greek taverna with delicious food. For me - this is the best place to eat in Benitses. The portions are big and nicely decorated with side dishes. The sea bream was just amazing. Go for it!

This place is brilliant , pastistada is amazing (and I've had it in most of the tavernas!) Barbara's cooking is really really good ..Miltos's kids are brilliant and the next generation of restaurant /bar owners ! Cheers From Fatty Man

Food made with love This family is very friendly and makes you feel very welcomed. We had fish and octopus it was 10/10. Definitely recommend and would visit again when back in Corfu💙
